Parent to Parent Disabilities Forum

Parent to Parent is a disability discussion forum for parents, caregivers, co-workers and friends of children with disabilities. You will be able to get or give advice, share photos and more.

We’d like people to understand more about what life is like for mildly or profoundly disabled young children, teenagers, and their families. We want to raise awareness about the fact that lots of families with disabled children are still not getting the right support they need to lead ordinary lives,  some of the specific issues families are facing, and how those issues can be overcome if the right support is available.

Here are some ways you can help us do this listed below.

What’s your child’s story?
Real stories from real families is a very powerful way to raise awareness to make change happen and improve the situation for disabled children and their families.

Send us your photos
We’d like to put photographs of disabled children, young people and their families on our website and on our other materials. We need your permission to do this so please complete our photo form and  send it with your photos to us at helen@angelswithspecialneeds.org

If you could change one thing for disabled children and their families what would it be?.
Provide your answer to the question.

Join us in our task to foster respect for the rights and dignity of persons with disabilities throughout society!
